KULON PROGO - Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) in Kulon Progo held a Kartini photo exhibition on April 20 to 21 in commemoration of Kartini Day. This exhibition aims to increase public awareness about the social role of women who are equal to men in the community, including in the aviation industry.

Therefore, the theme "Airport Kartini" was chosen for the photo exhibition to show that many great women have played an important role and give positive impacts in the world of aviation. The photo exhibition was also carried out as an effort to provide education and creative content related to the airport industry to the public despite limited conditions by observing the health protocol for preventing the spread of COVID-19.

"During the COVID-19 pandemic, airports of Angkasa Pura I continue to operate with several operational adjustments to help preventing the spread of COVID-19. However, in this limited situation, management continues to provide creative content for airport service users, either at the airport or virtually by taking into account the health protocol for preventing the spread of COVID-19. One of them is the commemoration of Kartini Day through the Kartini photo exhibition at Yogyakarta International Airport with the theme 'Kartini Airport' ", said Angkasa Pura Airports president director Faik Fahmi.
