Tinjau Keselamatan Penerbangan, Komisi V DPR Kunjungi Bandara Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar

MAKASSAR - In order to improve the management of airport in Indonesia, Commission V of the House of Representatives implement Working Visit to Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar (01/04).

Working Committee members involved are Michael Watimena (Chairman), H. Rendhy A. Lamadjino, Agati Sulie Mahyudin, Novita Wijayantim, Umar Arsal, Andi Taufan Tiro, and Mohammad Toha.

The delegation was welcomed by Jafar Marikar (Airport Operations Department Head), Agus Budiharto (Sales Dept. Head), and Yuni Kustari (General Affairs Section Head).

The event was held at the Emmy Saelan VIP Room Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar began at 11:00 WITA. During the working visit, Commission V Working Committee held a meeting with officials of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Airport Authority, Angkasa Pura Airports, Institute of Air Navigation Services Operator Indonesia (LPPNPI), Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) and the National Search and Rescue Agency.

During the visit, conducted a review of the airport service facilities, including terminals, airport health centers, and facilities ground handling.

The working visit was intended to review the safety, security and quality of the flight in Indonesia, especially at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport in Makassar. This is one of the measures taken to realize the road map to zero accident in Indonesian aviation industry. [DSS]
