Supporting SOE Ministry Ramadan Program, Angkasa Pura Airports Provides Social Assistance in Central Java Of Rp910 Million

PURBALINGGA – Angkasa Pura Airports provides social assistance with a total value of Rp910 million (US$63,390) to mosques and people in need in five locations in Central Java.

The various types of assistance are worship facilities of Rp500 million, 1,000 Qur'an, and aids for 1,000 orphans and poor children. The assistance was handed over symbolically and simultaneously in the five locations on Friday (24/5).

For information, the activities of giving 1,000 Qur’an which was done in Central Java were also carried out simultaneously in 34 other provinces which later recorded at the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI).

The social activity is a company support for the Safari Ramadan Program of the Ministry of SOE, which is also part of the SOEs Present for the Country (BHUN) Program.

Assistance was given to dozens of musalla, mosques, foundations, orphanages, and Islamic boarding schools in five locations in four districts such as Boyolali Regency, Semarang, Purbalingga Regency, and Klaten Regency. The aid was symbolically handed over in five locations; Purbalingga Darul Hadlonah Islamic Boarding School, Kuningan Semarang Village, Zubdatul Itqon Boyolali Islamic Boarding School, Daarut Taqwa Juwiring Islamic Boarding School Klaten Islamic Boarding School, and Al Barokah Klaten Mosque.

"As a SOE, Angkasa Pura Airports is not only work for profit to the state through dividends, but also has social responsibilities to help and empower the surrounding community. In this holy month of Ramadan, in order to support the Ministry of SOE’s social program, Angkasa Pura Airports provides special assistance to mosques, orphanages, and Islamic boarding schools. Hopefully this assistance can facilitate worship during Ramadan and other worship activities of the residents around the recipient's mosque," said Angkasa Pura Airports president director Faik Fahmi.

In the social program, which is part of the main program of SOEs Present for the Country, Angkasa Pura Airports was appointed by the Ministry of SOE as the person in charge (PIC) of program in Central Java, together with other 3 co-PICs state-owned industrial zone management service PT Kawasan Industri Wijayakusuma, state-owned plantation companies PT Perkebunan Nusantara IX and PT Perkebunan Nusantara X. Cooperation between the SOE PIC and co-PIC is one of SOEs’ synergy to contribute to the community in need.

Up
