BANJARBARU - (7/9) A total of 360 prospective Hajj pilgrims Year 1436 H of Banjarmasin embarkation, today, Monday, September 7, 2015, crowded Banjarbaru Hajj Dormitory. They will follow the ceremony procession of Hajj dispatch led by Chairman of the Hajj Committee, of Religious Affairs Office, HM Tambrin. Starting at 08.30 WITA, the dispatch runs solemn and smoothly. The implementation schedule of this year's Hajj itself will begin from 7 to 17 September 2015.
Aviation Security officers of Syamsudin Noor Airport has been preparing since September 6 to provide X-ray inspection facilities along security personnel for physical examinations and the luggage of the hajj pilgrim.
This year, Banjarmasin Hajj embarkation will dispatch 4190 pilgrims which consist of 9 flight group originating from South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan. For the first day, the pilgrims dispatched as many as 360 people (160 men and 200 women) using a Garuda Indonesia plane with flight number GA 8101, PK-GPG type Airbus A330-300 with heavy luggage as much as 6603 kg.
After the pilgrims dispatch procession finished, they are then dispatched using the appropriate bus fleet each at 10:50 WITA towards the air side of Syamsudin Noor Airport.
