Increase Air Testing Services Infrastructure Angkasa Pura Airports Signed A Memorandum Of Understanding With Djpu Aviation Engineering Institute

Jakarta (12/29/2016) – Angkasa Pura Airports committed to continuously improving airside infrastructure services at Airports in the management of the Angkasa Pura Airports by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Hall of Aerospace Engineering Directorate General of Air Transportation. The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding made by the Technical Director of Angkasa Pura Airports Polana B. Pramesti joint chairman Aviation Engineering Institute Fellyus Noor in Plenary Meeting Room 4th floor, Ghra Angkasa Pura I, Thursday (12/29).

Through the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding DJPU Aviation Engineering Institute will conduct testing service airside infrastructure that includes the implementation of testing the pavement bearing capacity using Heavy Weight Deflector (HWD), the implementation of testing pavement using the Skid Resistance, testing surface flatness pavement using a profilometer, research pavement surface conditions using Runaway Measurements Equipment (RME) tool, supply technicians to support the implementation of testing and support the provision of testing equipment.

The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding was a commitment to support the Angkasa Pura Airports Director General of Civil Aviation Regulation no.94 in 2015 on Guidelines for Technical Operations Civil Aviation Safety Regulations and the Maintenance of Airport Pavement Construction (Pavement Management System). Hopefully with this signing it could be a beneficial to us all, especially the world of aviation since airside pavement such as runaway, taxiways, and apron was the main production equipment of an Airport and to support aviation safety,” said Polana B Pramesti.

With this agreement Angkasa Pura Airports may continue to assess and evaluate on flight safety and operations at the Airports which was run. Hall of Aviation Engineering was formed on June 1st, 2012 and approved by the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number: PM 33 year 2012 on The Organization and Work Institute for Aviation Engineering who has the task of carrying out testing of maintenance, repair and services in the field of electrical equipment flight, equipment mechanics and electrical low and civil engineering and the airport environment.

Up
