Jakarta, December 28, 2016- Angkasa Pura Airport tried to increase the plus value of it’s own land assets by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a state-owned (BUMN) construction and investment PT PP (Ltd) Tbk. The signing was done by each of the main Director that is Main Director of Angkasa Pura Airports Danang S.Baskoro and Main Director PT PP Tumiyana in 6th floor Graha Angkasa Pura I on Wednesday (12/28).
The MOU included a study plan development, construction and management of Angkasa Pura Airport’s land that still has plus value. While the purpose of the MOU signing was to create a synergy with the principle of mutual benefit between the two sides to exploit the potential of each parties.
“This cooperation plan is for land uses that are still idle or is still not optimal. It is hoped that with this cooperation, the assets can be commercialized and can eventually accommodate labor and boost economic growth. Hopefully we can produce something to further improve the investment or it can contribute to national growth,” said Danang S.Baskoro in his speech on the event of MOU signing on Wednesday (12/28).
In line with Danang S.Bakoro, the main Director of PT PP (Ltd) Tumiyana said that the signing was the beginning to produce something positive. “PP does not have assets that grater than Angkasa Pura Airport. But we have knowledge in our field. Hopefully with the knowledge that we have, Angkasa Pura Airpot which were scattered everywhere could be optimized so that could become a new value,” said Tumiyana on his speech.
As information, PT PP (Ltd) has some subsidiary which one of them is PT PP Property Tbk (PP Pro). PP Pro has become one of the company’s top five in the property sector with a market capitalization of 23 trillion. Tumiyana explained that these advantages can be synergized with the Angkasa Pura I’s program. “Hopefully we can contribute to increase the value contained in Angkasa Pura I also in PP,” said Tumiyana.
