Angkasa Pura Airports Wins Two Awards in 2019 RRI SOE Award 2019

JAKARTA - Angkasa Pura Airports has won two awards in the 2019 RRI SOE Awards held by national radio station Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) collaborating with Iconomics Research and Consultant.

The two awards are Gold - Social Economy Contribution Award and Gold - Customer Service Quality award for the airport industry category. The awards were handed over by  SOE Ministry’s Secretary Imam Apriyanto Putro to Angkasa Pura Airports Vice President Corporate Planning and Transformation Ramdan Pradarma in Jakarta on Thursday (9/26/2019).

"This award is an indicator and recognition of the success of Angkasa Pura Airports in building a strong brand image, consistently improving services to airport service users as well as having a high social and economic contribution to the community," said Angkasa Pura Airports president director Faik Fahmi.

"We greatly appreciate this event. The hard work of SOEs who have been named winners must be appreciated and enhanced because SOE is an extension of the state in the business sector and has the responsibility of helping the government realizing the noble ideals of the founding of the country which is the welfare of its people,” Imam said.

In this event, RRI and Iconomics Research gave awards to SOEs in four categories: the Market Dominance Award, Brand Strength Award, Customer Satisfaction Award and Social Economy Contribution.

The assessment method of RRI SOE Award is determined through a Focus Group Discussion, pilot survey, and main survey. The survey was conducted in 10 major cities, namely Medan, Makassar, Denpasar, Pontianak, Manado, Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, and Semarang by targeting age based on three millennial segments: early (18-24 years), mid (25-31 years), and late (32-37 years) and three income segments: low (<Rp2.6 million/month), middle (Rp3-6 million/month), and high (>Rp6 million/month) with the number of respondents reaching to 10,000 people.
