Angkasa Pura Airports Received 2 Appreciation CSR Awards 2016

Angkasa Pura Airports won 2 awards of appreciation Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) 2016 organized by the newspaper Sindo and Sindo Weekly. The award was presented by Deputy Finance Ministry of Cooperatives and UKM, Braman Setyo and received directly by the Head of CSR Angkasa Pura Airport, Mariyanto and General Manager Angkasa Pura Airports of Adisutjipto Airport Yogyakarta, Agus Pandu Purnama in Borobudur Hotel Jakarta, Tuesday night (12/13).

“These awards are an appreciation for what has been done by Angkasa Pura Airports to the society through CSR activities mainly for economic empowerment at airports in the territory management of Angkasa Pura Airports,” said Mariyanto, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility Angkasa Pura Airports.

According to the Chief Editor of the Weekly Sindo, Nevy Hetharia, in practice, innovation and creativity of the implementation of CSR was required. Innovation and creativity concerned the issue of the division composition of the fund distributed to each of the pillars, as well as the type and format of CSR activities in the field.

“CSR award was expected to give impetus to the improvement of the company’s CSR activities and quality. So it will give a huge impact to the lives of its beneficiaries,” added Nevy.

CSR Award 2016 gave appreciation to 22 companies in eight categories. The category consisted of environmental, educational, social, economic empowerment, health, innovation and CSR program, CSR communications innovation. Innovation and creativity drafting CSR program and its effectiveness in the formation of social capital became the main indicator of Weekly Magazine Sindo and Sindo Newspaper in giving appreciation to the company’s CSR program. The appreciation CSR award 2016, received by Angkasa Pura Airports and Adisutjipto Airport Yogyakarta in category of Economic Empowerment for the community.
