JAKARTA - Indonesian Association of Airport (ICMA) in cooperation with the Air Transport Directorate General of Civil Aviation Directorate held a seminar titled "Airport and Airline Synergy towards the ASEAN Open Sky and Global Development". The seminar is supported by Angkasa Pura I, Angkasa Pura II, Garuda Indonesia, IATA, and other aviation industry institutions. The seminar was held at the Headquarters of Angkasa Pura I, which is located in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. (12/01).
The seminar presenting regulators, operators, up to the national and international airport affairs expert. Present as the speakers are Airport Expert Edie Haryoto, Timor Leste DGCA Romualdo Da Silva, Garuda Indonesia Operations Director Capt Novianto Herupratomo, Managing Director of Bintan Aviation Investment MBK Wudy, Expert from Cranfield University Peter Morrell, Expert of Westminster University Anne Graham. The seminars were held for two days followed by about 250 participants from both the airport manager under the management of Angkasa Pura I, Angkasa Pura II, as well as the Ministry of Transportation.
ICMA Secretary General A. Soebagyo in opening his statement said that the seminar was intended as a forum to share and discuss in order to search for entries in order to welcome the ASEAN Open Sky in the 2015's. "I hope that Indonesia can benefit from the ASEAN Open Sky 2015 enacted" he added.
