Angkasa Pura Airports Akan Menerapkan PSC on Ticket

JAKARTA - Angkasa Pura Airports as manager of airports in eastern Indonesia will implement the Passenger Service Charge (PSC) for the purchase of a ticket on February 1, 2015 and March 1, 2015. Terms of use this is a follow the Director General of Civil Aviation KP No. 447 of 2014 concerning PSC Payment Unitized with Passenger Aircraft Ticket. Related to this, the Angkasa Pura Airports has prepared its implementation together with the airline since last December 2014.

"Application of the PSC on the ticket is an effort of airport managers and airline to improve the comfort of the aircraft user. Angkasa Pura Airports as manager of 14 airports of East Indonesia and have experienced for 51 years ready to implement" Gunawan Agus Subrata said in the follow-up meeting that meeting between Angkasa Pura Airports and international non-IATA airlines in the Head Office in Jakarta on Friday (9/1). Present were representatives of Indonesia Air Asia, Flynas, Tiger Airways, Lion Group, Malindo Air and Jetstar and Value Jet.

As a manager of 13 airports like I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali, Juanda Surabaya, Sultan Hasanuddin and Sultan Aji M. Sulaiman Sepinggan Balikpapan, Angkasa Pura Airports is serving approximately 73.5 million passengers during 2014 ago. Especially passengers departing through airports are approximately 36.5 million people. Compared to the year 2013, the total passengers through the airport Angkasa Pura Airports increased about 2.3%.

In the application of the PSC to passengers are different at each airport. It is dependent upon the availability of services and facilities available. For I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Bali, domestic PSC charged 75,000, - IDR and international 200.000, - IDR. For Sultan Hasanuddin Airport in Makassar, domestic PSC charged 50.000, - IDR per passenger and international PSC 150.000, - IDR.
