Angkasa Pura Airports and Angkasa Pura Support Synergize for Successful Implementation of the 2022 MotoGP Pre-Season Test in Mandalika

Jakarta, February 12, 2022 – Angkasa Pura Airports and its subsidiary, Angkasa Pura Support (APS) synergized to support the successful implementation of the 2022 MotoGP Pre-Season Test in Mandalika on February 11-13, 2022.

Angkasa Pura Airports and Angkasa Pura Support provided support through the provision of Human Resources (HR) for Cleaning Service, Waste Management and Security during the 2022 MotoGP Preseason Test in collaboration with ITDC Nusantara Utilitas (ITDC NU).

“365 personnel from Angkasa Pura Airports and APS involved to ensure safety, cleanliness and comfort for riders, crew, official teams, media and all spectators attending the MotoGP Pre-season Test at Mandalika Circuit,” AP I President Director Faik Fahmi explained.

Of the 365 personnel involved, 233 personnel were cleaning service officers. 40 of a total of 133 security officers were those with high experience in securing vital airport objects and licenses in operating X-Ray and WTDM.

“Almost all of the cleaning service & security officers recruited by APS to support the international event were West Nusa Tenggara natives and people from the 6 buffer villages in Mandalika Special Economic Zone. This is a form of our concern to help increase the participation and involvement of local residents and encourage sustainable economic growth,” Faik Fahmi added.
