Strengthening Community's Immunity, I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali Holds Vaccine Booster Program

Bali, January 21, 2022 - Angkasa Pura Airports, the Regional IV Airport Authority Office and the Denpasar Class I Port Health Office synergize and initiate the implementation of the Third Dose of COVID-19 Vaccination Program or Booster Vaccine for all stakeholders and communities at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport - Bali.

The Booster Vaccination Program was carried out at the International Arrival Terminal Area of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport - Bali from Thursday, January 20 to Friday, January 21, 2022 at 08.30-15.30 WITA with the implementation of strict Health Protocols.

“We highly appreciate the existing synergy between the Regional IV Airport Authority Office and Denpasar Class I KKP to jointly hold the Booster Vaccination Program in accordance with the direct instruction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo a while back,” President Director of Angkasa Pura Airports, Faik Fahmi said.

Vaccine Booster Vaccination Program is prioritized for all stakeholders & the community at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport - Bali who have met the vaccination requirements, namely participants who have received a complete vaccination (Second Dose) at least 6 months after the second dose and have received a Booster Vaccination ticket from PeduliLindungi application. The target for participants of the Vaccination Booster Program participants is 7,000 people with the AstraZeneca vaccine.

“Through the Vaccination Booster Program, it is hoped that the program can strengthen community’s immunity for all vaccination participants as the frontline in service to service users at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport - Bali amidst the threat of transmission of the Omicron variant of COVID-19,” Faik Fahmi added.
