Jakarta – The National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) again held the National Development Planning Deliberation (Murenbangnas) for 2014 (30/04). After officially opening the meeting, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) is scheduled to give directions upon observing the presentation on the 2015 Development Work Plan presented by the Head of Bappenas, Armida Alisjahbana.
Symbolically, the Report on the Performance Achievement of the United Indonesian Cabinet I (2004-2009) and the United Indonesian Cabinet II (2009-2014) was handed over to the President. In the afternoon, the Musrenbangnas held the first plenary meeting to discuss four themes. First, planning and development policies in 2015 by the Head of Bappenas. Second, strengthening the capacity of the local governments in supporting the 2015 development by the Minister of Home Affairs, Gamawan Fauzi. Third, fiscal policy and budget performance in 2015 by the Minister of Finance Chatib Basri and fourth, inflation control in the local regions by the Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) Agus Martowardojo.
The following session is the second plenary meeting that offers an interactive dialogue with the President Directors of State-owned enterprises with the theme "Breakthrough : Solutions to Accelerate Infrastructure Development ". The State-owned companies are represented by, among others, President Director of PT Pelindo II (Persero) RJ Lino, President Director of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Tommy Soetomo, President Director of PT Jasa Marga Tbk Adityawarman, President Director of PT PLN (Persero) Nur Pamudji, President Director of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BNI) Gatot M Suwono and the Head of the National Land Agency (BPN) Hendarman Supandji.
In the last session, the Minister for State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucracy Reform, Azwar Abubakar, presented awards for innovative public services and launched the book entitled: The Road Map to Social Security in Employment by Coordinating Minister for People’s Welfare, Agung Laksono.
