Jakarta -Ignasius Jonan as Minister of transport of the Republic of Indonesia on Friday (19/12) inaugurated I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport of Bali. Housed in the office of the Ministry of transportation, the event was attended by the Maritime Field Coordinator Minister Indroyono Soesilo himself, the Assistant Chief of staff for operations of the AIR FORCE, Deputy Chief of staff of the INDONESIAN NAVY, the head of the BASARNAS, the Western Fleet commander TNI AL, Directors General as well as the officials of the Ministry of transportation. There are 10 (ten) airports and 20 (twenty) ports which were inaugurated by the Minister of transportation.

Minister of transport signed an inscription of I Gusti Ngurah Rai airport in Bali as well as other airport and port projects and was accompanied by Minister of the Maritime Field Coordinator, President Director of Angkasa Pura Airports, as well as the Directors General in the environment of the Ministry of transportation.

In his speech, Jonan said, that the airports and ports construction undertaken aims to improve and simplify the mobility of people and goods especially if viewed Indonesia as an island nation so that air and sea transport required a reliable without compromising safety factor as a major. Jonan also invite if there are any outside parties of The Ministry of transportation which interested in managing the airport as long as it is managed by the Ministry of transportation like in Labuan Bajo's Komodo airport for this time has become tourist destinations.

Same with Jonan, Indroyono Soesilo himself in his speech says that as Indonesia as a maritime country must has a capable air and naval fleet. It aims to facilitate the delivery of food to communities in a far regions as well as to improve the mobility of people and goods between the Islands.

"Certainly to be supported also by means of port and airport infrastructure that  adequate,"  firmly Indroyono himself. Through the development and expansion of the port and airport are carried out so that the public can expect more comfortable when using the mode of transportation by sea and air always with prioritizes safety.
