Pemudik Mulai Padati Bandara I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Bali

Denpasar - Approaching D-7 Idul Fitri Celebration, mudik (hometown travel) travelers are starting to fill I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali International Airport. The increase of passengers flying through this airport which was recorded by Angkasa Pura Airport (22/7) explained that 10,833 passengers on D-7 had flown from this airport or an increase around 8% compared to last year. 

General Manager of Angkasa Pura Airports I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Branch Herry A.Y. Sikado explained in his release, based on local mudik post data, domestic passengers leaving Pulau Dewata (Island of Gods) on Monday (21/7) or D-7 Lebaran had increased. "Passengers’ and planes’ mobility has increased rapidly since D-7 Lebaran," he added. That number of passengers used 103 airplanes of several airlines. The increase of passengers going through the airport is predicted to reach its peak three days approaching lebaran celebration.  [Diani Sekaring Sejati/Source: Suara Pembaruan]
