SURABAYA – To support presidential election, Angkasa Pura Airports Juanda Branch in Surabaya set several polling stations (TPS) on Wednesday (09/07). One of them, Terminal 1 polling station which was located in the podium area, was instantly attracted many voters which were mostly airport officers. A queue of voters was seen being served orderly by the polling officers in processing their ballots.

Juanda International Airport General Manager, Trikora Harjo, explained that the airport joined forces with the local polling committee or Betro and Pranti village in Sedati sub-district in setting up their polling stations inside the terminal. “The polling station of Terminal 1 is located in the podium area while the station of Terminal 2 is located near the main gate of the terminal,” added Trikora. He further explained that the polling stations would operate between 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. These polling stations were set to accommodate in-duty airport officers.
