Back to ListJAKARTA - Angkasa Pura Airports opens the selection of cargo and postal operator partners at two airports, which are Juanda International Airport in Surabaya and I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali. This selection process is intended to improve cargo and postal services at the two airports in order to revitalize and to support the growth of national cargo and logistics.
"Angkasa Pura I is committed to continuously improving our airport services, including services for air cargo stakeholders. The selection of cargo operator partners is carried out in order to improve cargo and postal services so that they can support national cargo and logistics growth," said the President Director of Angkasa Pura Airports Faik Fahmi.
The selection of this cargo operator partners, Faik Fahmi continued, is in accordance with the company's strategic plan in 2022 to increase the level of services according to global standards; to improve capabilities, expertise, and networks in the cargo business; and to implement "state of the art" technology in cargo operations through the implementation of semi-automatic system which can increase cargo throughput.
Additionally, Surabaya Juanda Airport has a cargo terminal covering an area of 3.249,91 square meters with 65.311.554 kg of cargo traffic in 2020. Meanwhile, Bali I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport is equipped with a 3.000 square meters cargo terminal with 50.089.336 kg of cargo traffic in 2020.
