Implementing GCG, Angkasa Pura Airports Signs Memorandum Of Understanding With BPKP

JAKARTA - In order to implement Good Corporate Governance (GCG) by increasing efforts to prevent corruption, Angkasa Pura Airports has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Republic of Indonesia Finance and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).

The MoU is about the collaboration on Settlement of Development Constraints & Increased Investigative Capability of Angkasa Pura Airports. The signing was conducted by Angkasa Pura Airports President Director Faik Fahmi with the BPKP Deputy Head of Investigation Iswan Elmi at Graha Angkasa Pura I in Jakarta on Monday (15/7).

"Through this cooperation agreement, it is expected that the principles of good, clean, effective, and reliable corporate governance, including prevention of fraud in the middle of our efforts to accelerate the development of airports can be improved," Faik said.

The scope of the MoU between Angkasa Pura Airports with BPKP includes:

1. Providing assistance in the implementation of resolving development constraints which are not limited to some cases such as investigative audits, financial loss audit, fraud risk management, preparation and implementation of fraud control, asset tracing, digital forensic, audit claims, evaluation of development, anti-bribery management system, and other investment activities.

2. Implementation of cooperation in enhancing investment competency by providing transfer of knowledge in the field of investigation in the form of training, technical guidance, workshops and other activities that can improve corruption prevention capabilities.

"We really appreciate the cooperation with Angkasa Pura Airports. Through this collaboration, we want to assure that risks arising from every business activity of Angkasa Pura I as a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) are sufficiently mitigated and expected to have good accountability," Iswan said.
