Upon arrival in Bali, the flight using Airbus A320 aircraft was greeted with a water salute. Then, the aircraft returned to Kuala Lumpur with flight number AK377 at 13:55 WITA on the same day carrying 6 passengers.

“With the operation of AirAsia flight on Kuala Lumpur-Bali route (vice versa), it is recorded that seven airlines operate regular international routes at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport. It is noted that five routes have been connected to Bali, namely Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne, Tokyo via Narita Airport, and most recently Kuala Lumpur,” AP I’s President Director Faik Fahmi said on Thursday (24/03).

“We are optimistic on the projected increase in international flights and passenger growth on international routes. On Sunday (27/03), I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport will serve additional regular international flights from Qatar Airways to connect Bali with Doha. It is projected that there will be a high number of landing and departing passengers from this flight,” Faik Fahmi added.

“I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport serves an average of 365 passengers and 4 aircraft movements on international routes per day.
