Domestic Terminal of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport Back To Normal

JAKARTA – Domestic terminal of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali has been operating normally for passengers after the fire incident at the Domestic Terminal Area that occurred on Friday (4/19) afternoon.

Angkasa Pura Airports has prepared an operational plan for domestic flight passengers who are going to check-in. Passengers travelling on Garuda Indonesia, Citilink, Sriwijaya Air and NAM Air airlines, upon arrival at the airport, can directly check-in at counter 1 to 22 in the Domestic Terminal which are not affected by fire.

"As for passengers who use Air Asia, Batik Air, Wings Air, Lion Air and Travira Air, they can do the check-in via Island E - International Departure Terminal. There will be officers who will direct the passengers to pass the connecting passage of Novotel Bali Hotel to the Domestic Terminal boarding lounge," said I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport General Manager Haruman Sulaksono.

In order to increase passengers’ comfort, the Management of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport has also cleaned and closed area affected by the fire. "It is hoped that after being closed and cleaned will make passengers who come back feel safe and comfortable," Haruman added.
