Chasing Business Growth Accelerating, Angkasa Pura Airports Cooperate With IATA

JAKARTA (13/10) - Angkasa Pura Airports seek acceleration OF  business growth by cooperating with the International Air Transport Association (IATA). This is done through the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) concerning cooperation in the field of airport services on acceleration of revenue receipts.

The MoU signing was conducted by the Director of Angkasa Pura Airports Sulistyo Wimbo Hardjito and Regional Vice President Asia Pacific IATA Conrad Clifford in Jakarta, Thursday (13/10).

Cooperation in the field of airport services include revenueacceleration on Aircraft Passenger Services (PJP2U), acceleration services on revenue aeronautical, and assist in the collection of receivables overflying that occurred prior to the separation of AirNav Indonesia.

"Angkasa Pura Airports in management and business development would require the support of others. Cooperation with IATA will ensure the expeditious receipt of revenue for us, primarily related to revenue of aeronautical which is the biggest contributor to revenue Angkasa Pura Airports, 58% (estimated in 2016)," Wimbo said.

According Wimbo, this cooperation is expected to increase and maintain the level of financial liquidity of the company. "So in the end we were able to further improve the level of services, including facilities and development of airport capacity, to users of airport services," he added.

IATA is an international organization in the world's largest airline company, which consists of 256 airlines with partners who are scattered around the world. In addition, IATA also has a reliable networks and systems that can help Angkasa Pura Airports in accelerating acceptance of aeronautical revenue. [DR]
