"At present, millennials have dominated the workforce in various industries, including in Angkasa Pura Airports. Around 70 percent of employees of Angkasa Pura Airports are millennials. With all the unique and typical-millennial characteristics, this generation needs to be given a platform and facilities to make them able to be a driving force of the company for improving the company performance and the quality of social care,” Faik said.
Therefore, Faik added, during the era of volatility-uncertainty-complexity-ambiguity (VUCA), the management initiated Moovin as the Angkasa Pura Airports millennial community to accommodate creativity and innovation of millennial employees in order to anticipate VUCA.
"It is hoped that the millennial generation of this company can be an adaptive and agile corporate leader in facing the dynamic business environment and can provide positive contribution through the spirit of innovation and collaboration both internally and externally," Faik said.
"Millennial generation does have a different character from the previous generation. This needs to be connected with the adaptation and the desire to have understanding among these generations. Representing the millennial generation of the company, I appreciate this initiation and enthusiasm in facing future challenges to be able to contribute more, not only to the growth of the company's business performance, but also to creating sustainable business practices that pay attention to environmental aspects and social care,” said Angkasa Pura Airports millennial community chairman Hanindito.
