Angkasa Pura Airports Wins Favorite Booth Title in 2019 Indotrans Expo

JAKARTA - Transportation exhibition 2019 Indotrans Expo organized by the Ministry of Transportation at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) in commemoration of the 2019 National Transportation Day was officially closed on Sunday (9/15/2019).

Angkasa Pura Airports won the title "The Most Favorite Booth" in the exhibition which was opened by Vice President Jusuf Kalla on September 13, 2019. At last year's exhibition, Angkasa Pura I was named the “Number 1 Best Booth Champion”.

During the exhibition, Angkasa Pura Airports presented installation booth with a theme new terminal of Banjarmasin’s Syamsudin Noor International Airport which attracted visitors attention. They were very enthusiastic to take part in the unique and interactive virtual games hosted by Syamsudin Noor International Airport’s Ambassador who comes from Banjarmasin.

Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi also looked enthusiastic when visiting the Angkasa Pura Airports booth.

Creativity and interactivity supported by friendly staff who provide information to visitors make Angkasa Pura Airports booth received with high enthusiasm. Nearly 600 visitors registered for the three-day-exhibition. Apart from asking questions and looking for information, they also play games and take part in various quizzes with prizes.

"We are pleased that the participation of Angkasa Pura Airports in the 2019 Indotrans Expo received positive appreciation from the organizers and with high enthusiasm from the visitors of the exhibition. Hopefully our presence at this event can provide clear and comprehensive information about Angkasa Pura Airports and the airports they manage, especially Syamsudin Noor International Airport in Banjarmasin which became the theme of the Angkasa Pura Airports booth in this exhibition,” said Angkasa Pura Airports president director Faik Fahmi.

The 2019 Indotrans Expo is an event initiated by the Ministry of Transportation in commemoration of the 2019 National Transportation Day which aims to disseminate information about transportation, infrastructure and tourism to the public. This exhibition presents various agencies and industries in the field of transportation with the theme “Synergy Between the Government and Private in the Development of Transportation, Infrastructure and Tourism to be able to boost and accelerate Connectivity Across Regions”.

“It is hoped that this event will be able to increase the participation and gain support from the wider community in accelerating inclusive development, especially for the National Strategic Project that is being carried out by Angkasa Pura Airports," Faik added.
