SURABAYA - Excellent Service Innovation of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Bali made it into the Top 99 Public Service Innovation 2016 organized by the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan RB). The award for the service I Gusti Ngurah Rai is done by the Minister PANRB Yudi Chrisnandi who was accompanied by Deputy Public Service Mirawati Sudjono to Operation Director of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Wendo Asrul Rose in the Symposium and Holds Public Service Innovation of the National Year 2016 JX International, Surabaya, Thursday (31/03/2016).

Public Service Innovation Competition is an annual event held since 2014. The competition was also held similar internationally by the United Nations (UN), known as the United Nations Public Services Award (UNPSA). In Indonesia, the interest of institutions to follow this competition is increasing every year. If in 2014 there are 515 innovations that competed, then in 2015 increased to 1,184 innovations, the year 2016 recorded 2,476 innovations. Unlike previously, this year SOEs are also invited to participate as participants of the competition.

Of the total of 2,476 innovations, then set the Top 99 Public Service Innovation 2016. The innovators Top 99 is present in the Symposium and the National Public Service Innovation Holds 2016 held in Surabaya, 31 March to 2 April 2016.

"We're pretty proud of the enthusiasm of the participants. This year there are 2,476 applicants and has selected 99 best innovations, which will be selected again into the Top 35. Through this event we expect the respective agencies, local governments, and state-owned enterprises are able to create best innovations, mainly related to service to the community," the Minister said Yudi.

In the category of SOEs, of 41 innovations that participated, elected five innovations that should be included in the Top 99, one of which is Innovation Excellent Service I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Bali. Angkasa Pura I was awarded with the innovation of PLN, Pelindo II, and Pelindo III.

"We are proud and grateful service I Gusti Ngurah Rai appreciated as an airport that has been innovating with the best services to the users of services. This achievement is a motivation for us to continue to improve safety, security, and service to users of airport services, not only in I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, but throughout the airport Angkasa Pura I," said Wendo.
