Jakarta - Indonesia Transport, Supply Chain and Logistics 2015 (ITSCL) officially held today, Thursday (7/10) was attended by the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Indonesia, Ignatius Jonan, as the guest of honor who will open the exhibition. Held from 7th till October 9, 2015 at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), Kemayoran, this exhibition has more variation among other segments of the commercial vehicle segment, the segment of E-Commerce Logistics and Cold Chain Logistics. With the new segment, ITSCL will be the One Stop Shopping Solution for transportation and logistics. ITSCL 2015 offers an opportunity for the exhibitors to showcase products and services in the areas of transport, supply chain, logistics and materials handling industries. Compared to 2014 last ITSCL exhibition, the exhibition area of this year increased by 58%, i.e to 1,800 square meters.
PT. Angkasa Pura Logistics (APLog) as a subsidiary of PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) also took part in the International event of Transport, Supply Chain & Logistics 2015 (ITSCL) occupy booth stand D12 in Hall B3, Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran. APLog based in Jakarta is a subsidiary of PT. Angkasa Pura I and have access to 11 airports in the major cities in Indonesia, its business lines include (but are not limited to) air cargo terminal, warehousing, logistics lead, freight and handling customs service, with emphasis on development to eastern Indonesia. The main clients include the pharmaceutical industry, garment, automotive and infrastructure development projects.
The exhibition is organized by PT. Reed Panorama Exhibition, received support from the Association of National Companies shipment and delivery of goods Indonesia (ASPERINDO), Federation of Malaysia Freight Forwarders (FMFF), the Association of Food and Beverage entire premises (GAPMMI), the Association of Indonesian Exporters (GPEI), the Association of Ship Owners National Indonesia (INSA), the Indonesian Textile Association (API), Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), Thai Exporters Development Foundation (TEDF) and the Thai National Shippers Council (TNSC), Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM), Employers' Association of Truck Indonesia (APTRINDO), Indonesia Cold Chain Association, the Association of E-Commerce Indonesia (IDEA), the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia and the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia.
Indonesia is an island nation, coupled with urbanization and rapid population growth, logistics performance has become so important for the provision of distribution networks supply chain that is efficient, transport and market logistic expected to grow by 15.2 percent, which includes the actual market and market potential of logistics in various economy segments. The industry is also expected to record up to two-digit growth over the forecast period due to the economic development of Indonesia's growing and driven by high domestic demand.
