SLEMAN - Entering a retirement period, every employee is expected to be able to spend it with productive activities. Regarding this matter, Angkasa Pura Airports in Jogjakarta held a training program for a number of employees. Training and Development Group Head of Angkasa Pura Airports Cecep Marga Sonjaya said that this pre-retirement training is a routine event.  It is designed to prepare the employees who are approaching their pre-retirement period. The event is done at Prambanan Room Hotel Grand Tjokro Jogjakarta since Monday (2/6) until next Saturday (7/6).

"The objective is so that they may enjoy their retirement comfortably and prosperous. This training includes entrepreneurship, psychology and health," said Cecep yesterday. The training, Cecep explained, is done in three batches. In addition to being done in Jogjakarta, the same event is also being done in Makassar and Malang. By joining this training, the pre-retirement employees are hoped to be able to enjoy their life ahead.

Cecep futher explained that a thorough discussion on entrepreneurship, psychology and health should be a very beneficial for retirement. Cecep also said that this period is prone to emotional and psychological ups-and-downs. "Almost every retiree experiences it. But we are trying to establish a mindset that a retirement is not the end of everything," he said.

In the meantime, the Committee of Pre-Retirement Training Ir. Ir Asto Waluyo, MM, MBA explained that the subject of mental switching is brought by Agung Fatwa. The subject of pension plan is brought by Putu Putrayasa. While the subject about the business success based on risk and capital fund is brought by Asto Waluyo. Those three subjects are delivered alternately each day.
