Angkasa Pura Airports Wins Two Awards in the 2nd SOE Mental Revolution Award 2019

JAKARTA - Angkasa Pura Airports has won two awards in the 2nd SOE Mental Revolution Award 2019 held by SOE Track Magazine in collaboration with the National Mental Revolution (GNRM) Task Force. The awards are "The Best Disciplined SOE" and the "Best SOE Leader of the Mental Revolution of Mental Revolution Program".

The award was presented by the GNRM National Task Force member and Antara  President Director in the period 2007-2012 Ahmad Mukhlis Yusuf to Angkasa Pura Airports President Director Faik Fahmi in the 2nd Mental Revolution Award 2019 held the Borobudur Hotel on Thursday (19/9). This year's Mental Revolution Award is the second event with the theme "Corporate Transformation: Revitalizing the Mental Revolution".

The award is a form of appreciation to the State-Owned Enterprises, SOEs’ subsidiaries, the Workers Social Security Agency (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan), Health Care and Social Security Agency (BPJS Kesehatan), SOEs and public companies that have implement the National Mental Revolution Movement.

The movement is stipulated in Presidential Instruction No.12 of 2016 on the National Mental Revolution Movement. The Mental Revolution itself is a rapid change in the way of thinking, working methods, way of life, and attitude and behavior of the Indonesian people which refers to strategic values namely integrity, work ethics and mutual cooperation based on progress-oriented Pancasila. In implementing the values of the Mental Revolution, five movements have been established which are the Indonesia Serves Movement, the Clean Indonesia Movement, the Orderly Indonesia Movement, the Independent Indonesia Movement and the United Indonesia Movement.

"This award is one of the indicators of success for the transformation program carried out by the company through the development of a new vision of 'Connecting the World Beyond Airport Operators with Indonesian Experience', where this transformation also includes the mindset transformation for HR who mostly are of millennial generation," Faik said.

The company’s millennial generation, Faik added, is the spearhead of the company in encouraging transformation so that improving quality and competence become an absolute necessity. In the midst of the era of disruption, the millennials are encouraged to build a culture of collaboration in innovating, serving culture, orderly culture, independent culture so as to bring the company to global-level competition.

Chairman of the jury and Chairman of the SOE Expert Board Track Sugiharto, who was also SOE Minister in 2004-2007 said, "Angkasa Pura Airports has successfully transformed. This success is the result of its CEO leadership in making changes in dynamic situations and is also the result of the Mental Revolution. The results of corporate transformation are proven through excellent performance and sustainable business practices that ultimately can make Angkasa Pura Airports excel both in terms of service and welfare for employees and the community.”

The 2nd Mental Revolution Award 2019 aims to measure the implementation of the Mental Revolution and give appreciation to SOEs, SOE subsidiaries, BPJS, city-owned enterprises, and public companies that implement the Mental Revolution well. The Honorary Jury at this award were Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Puan Maharani and GRNM Task Force chairman Arif Budimanta, Chairman of the jury was the Minister of SOEs in 2004 - 2007 Sugiharto who led 11 juries.
