Angkasa Pura Airports Wins Best Companies To Work For In Asia 2019 Award

JAKARTA - Angkasa Pura Airports has won "Best Company to Work for in Asia 2019" award for the second time after receiving the same award last year. The Asia-Pacific level award is held by Malaysia-based HR Asia.

The award was given by Business Media International Editor in Chief William Ng and was received by Angkasa Pura Airports Human Capital Vice President Joko Wahyono at the Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony at JW Marriot Hotel in Jakarta on Friday (6/14).

"This award is an appreciation for all employees of Angkasa Pura Airports for their contribution and dedication. The second award won by Angkasa Pura I will certainly encourage us to transforming human capital to support the company's new vision," said Angkasa Pura Airports Human Capital and General Affairs director Adi Nugroho in Jakarta.

According to Adi, human capital is an important asset to build an advanced company that is able to develop and adapt to any changes. "To create a world class airport officer, Angkasa Pura Airports launches Human Capital Strategic Initiative with three main aspects; organization, culture, and people. Organizationally, Angkasa Pura Airports wants to be a company which remains focused and nimble while culturally, it wishes to strengthening corporate culture of Synergy, Adaptive, Reliable, and Advance (SATU) and encourages innovation. Meanwhile, in terms of human resources, the strategy includes carrier and talent management based on performance and competence and through world-class learning and training," Adi added.

Digital transformation in the field of human capital is also carried out by Angkasa Pura Airports with the implementation of the Human Capital Information System (HCIS) which allows all human capital business processes in Angkasa Pura Airports goes digital.

For information, the 2019 HR Asia Awards Indonesian chapter was attended by more than 280 companies. In this year event, the awards were also held in China, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

Furthermore, the assessment process has been started since the end of 2018 through a series of evaluations, surveys, and presentations by nominees. Comprehensive assessment is carried out by an assessment team consisting of practitioners, experts, academics, and consultants.

Based on the results of surveys and assessments conducted by the Board of Juries, Angkasa Pura Airports managed to achieve a score above the industry average. [AD]
