Angkasa Pura Airports Wins Award for Corporate Governance and Company Compliance

JAKARTA - Angkasa Pura Airports has won the Top GRC #3 Stars award in the "Top GRC 2019" event organized by Top Business magazine in collaboration with the National Governance Policy Committee (KNKG), the Indonesian Risk Management Professional Association (IRMAPA), the Indonesian Institute of Professional Compliance (ICoPI), and the Asia Business Research Center.

The award was given by the Founder & President of the Open Compliance and Ethics Group (OCEG) who is also a figure of GRC Global Carole Switzer to the Angkasa Pura Airports President Director Faik Fahmi at the 2019 Top GRC & GRC Summit 2019 event held at Borobudur Hotel in Jakarta (22/8). In addition, Faik also received an award and was named the Most Committed GRC Leader 2019.

Top GRC is a place to learn about governance-risk-compliance (GRC) and give appreciation to companies that are considered to have implemented GRC well in managing their business.

Angkasa Pura Airports won the Top GRC #3 Stars award category, which means that the system, infrastructure and implementation of corporate governance (GCG), risk management and compliance management at Angkasa Pura I are at the GOOD level so as to support the improvement of the company's sustainable business performance.

"This award is a measure of the success of Angkasa Pura Airports in building and implementing a good GRC infrastructure system. Going forward, Angkasa Pura I is committed to continuously improving the implementation of good corporate governance, risk management and compliance management to be able to support sustainable business growth and contribute to national economic development,said Angkasa Pura Airports president director Faik Fahmi.

The assessment of the award was conducted on more than 500 companies in Indonesia, started with a GCG evaluation through assessment and direct interviews by the entire jury chaired by KNKG Chairman Mas Achmad Daniri.

"The recipients of this award are companies with good systems, infrastructure and implementation of corporate governance, risk management and compliance management so that they can improve sustainable business performance," Achmad said.
