Angkasa Pura Airports Win Award at 2018 Customer Experience Asia Excellence Awards in Singapore

Singapore (26/9/2018) – Angkasa Pura Airports have won international award for category the Best Employee Engagement Award 2018 at the 2018 Customer Experience (CX) Asia Excellence Awards.

The event is organized by the International Quality & Productivity Center (IQPC) based in Berlin. The award was presented by Troy Barnes as the chairman of the jury and received by the Angkasa Pura Airports president director Faik Fahmi at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Center in Singapore on Wednesday (26/9).

The CX Asia Excellence Awards is the highest appreciation for the company’s achievement in creating customers’ experience throughout Asian community.

In the event’s 4th year, the awards are judged by a panel of judges consisting of leaders and experts who have extensive experience in the field of customer experience in Asia. During the event, Angkasa Pura Airports were the only Indonesian company to win an award. 

The 2018 CX Asia Excellence Awards is participated by the best companies from Southeast Asia, South Asia, Australia and New Zealand, North Asia and the Middle East. This year, there are 12 categories of awards including Best Brand Experience Award, Best Social Media Award, Best Digital Experience Award, Best Contact Center Award, Best CX Team Award, Best Engagement Employee Arad and Best CX Personality Award. In the category Best Engagement Employee Award, which was participated by 148 companies, Angkasa Pura Airports who competed for the first time was able to secure the award.

“This award is one of the prestigious awards in the field of customer service. Alhamdulillah (Thanks to God), Angkasa Pura Airports are able to win an award. It is a form of appreciation for the commitment of Angkasa Pura Airports continuous effort to create and improve the customer experience for the airports’ users. This is in line with Angkasa Pura Airports aim to become the world-class airport management company with highest standard of safety and security by prioritizing service and experience with the touch of Indonesian uniqueness,” said Faik.

The commitment has also proven to led Angkasa Pura Airports to win another prestigious award at the world level at the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards held by the Airports Council International (ACI) in Canada on September 12. In the event, three Angkasa Pura Airports won five awards. First, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali which has been recognized as the 2017 world’s best airport for category of airports serving 15 to 25 million passengers per year while Juanda International Airport in Surabaya, East Java recognized as the world’s third-best airport in the category of 15 to 25 million passengers. The last is Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman (SAMS) Sepinggan Airport in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan which recognized as the world’s third-best airport in the category of 5 to 15 million passengers.

Apart from that, Angkasa Pura Airports have also bagged home awards in the field of human resources management on May 4. They won Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2018 award – Indonesia Chapter from HR Asia Magazine, an international business media based in Malaysia.
