Angkasa Pura Airports Receive ISO SNI 45001:2008 And ISO 9001:2015 Certification

Jakarta, December 22, 2021 - The airports under the management of Angkasa Pura Airports have received ISO SNI 45001: 2018 Certification for the implementation of the Occupational Health & Health Management System (SMK3) and ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System (QMS) from PT Sucofindo (Persero) in collaboration with the TUV Rheinland Indonesia Certification Agency.

The certificate was handed over by the President Director of Sucofindo, Mas Wigrantoro Roes Setiyadi and received directly by the AP I’s President Director, Faik Fahmi at Grha Angkasa Pura Airports- Kemayoran, Jakarta, on Wednesday (22/12).

“The achievement of ISO SNI 45001:2018 and ISO 9001:2015 certifications by PT Angkasa Pura I’s airports is proof of the company’s commitment to realizing its responsibilities and obligations in providing a safe and healthy workplace for all AP I’s personnel as mandated in the 1945 Constitution and Government Regulations,” AP I’s President Director, Faik Fahmi said.

Angkasa Pura Airports has established and implemented an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3) since 2012 as well as an ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) since 2013. In addition, the Company has carried out various audits and certifications to continuously improve the OHS and Quality Culture in order to support operational performance and company services to all service users and relevant stakeholders in a sustainable manner.

A total of 7 AP I’s airports have conducted SMK3 recertification audits in accordance with Government Regulation No. 50 of 2012 and ISO 45001:2018 Certification and were proposed to obtain the Golden Flag Certificate of SMK3. The 7 airport includes: I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali, SAMS Sepinggan Airport in Balikpapan, Juanda Airport in Surabaya, Adi Soemarmo Airport in Solo, Jenderal Ahmad Yani Airport in Semarang, Yogyakarta International Airport in Kulon Progo, and Sentani Airport in Jayapura.

Meanwhile, the Quality Management System Certification with the multisite method has also been implemented at Juanda Airport in Surabaya, SAMS Sepinggan Airport in Balikpapan, Lombok International Airport, Pattimura Airport in Ambon and I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali. This confirms that all Angkasa Pura Airports airports have been recommended to receive an ISO 9001:2015 certificate.

“Obtaining the certificate is not the ultimate goal of implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System and Quality Management System. We hope that OHS and QMS can continue to be implemented and become a corporate culture whose implementation can produce the best service, particularly in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic,”  Faik Fahmi explained.
