Angkasa Pura Airports Presents The Airport Geeks Board Game In The National Coordination Meeting Exhibition of The Coordination Ministry for Maritime & Investment Affairs

JAKARTA - Angkasa Pura Airports participated in the National Coordination Meeting Exhibition of five Super Priority Tourism Destinations (DPSP) of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment Affairs (Kemenkomarves) of the Republic of Indonesia which was held on Wednesday-Thursday, December 1-2, 2021. In the exhibition taking place at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Angkasa Pura Airportsbrought the latest innovation, the Airport Geeks board game.

Released in late October 2021, the board game was presented as the Company’s effort to provide an attractive alternative entertainment for the public and families in the midst of the global Covid-19 pandemic. The presence of the Airport Geeks board game was also intended to introduce the airport business and promote tourism destinations.

“Together with other companies as holding members of PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero), we have the opportunity to participate in the exhibition. In addition to promoting Indonesia’s main tourism supporting airports, namely Lombok International Airport, Yogyakarta International Airport, and Sam Ratulangi International Airport in Manado, we also bring our latest innovation, the Airport Geeks board game,” AP I’s President Director, Faik Fahmi said.

“Through the exhibition, we hope that it can become a forum for branding as well as to build a portfolio and expand exposure to the board game,” he continued.

The National Coordination Meeting exhibition of five Super Priority Tourism Destinations (DPSP) of Kemenkomarves was attended by the Ministries under the coordination of the Kemenkomarves, associations, and local governments. The participation of PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (Aviata) as an SOE holding company in the aviation and tourism sector aimed to promote collaboration in related sectors, promote company brand awareness, as well as for media promotion of superior products of holding member companies. The exhibition was also attended by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan.

The Airport Geeks board game was released at the Indonesian Contemporary Art & Design (ICAD) Exhibition held from October 21 to November 28, 2021.
