Jakarta - To reduce the pollution discharged from motor vehicle exhaust, also from car for two days, on October 22 and 23, 2015, Angkasa Pura Airports will hold emission test for free, for service vehicles and private vehicles, which is housed in the parking lot Grha Angkasa Pura I, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta (22/10).
"Today and tomorrow we hold a vehicle emissions test for all employees of Angkasa Pura, both official and private vehicles, with a target of 100 vehicles both cars and motorcycles" explained by Staff of Angkasa Pura Airport Safety Health and Environment Unit, Karina Pravitasari. Emission test held in cooperation with PT. Sawo Indonesia is carried out as a form of compliance Angkasa Pura Airports of the Environmental Evaluation Document (DELH) and Letter of Chief Environmental Management Agency (BPLHD) of DKI Jakarta.
Staff of Angkasa Pura Airport Safety Health and Environment Unit, Binsar Reynolds added, motor vehicle emissions test execution time is appropriate to the letter from BPLHD Jakarta No. 23 / DELH / -1.774.157 on September28, 2011 regarding DELH recommendation  Grha Angkasa Pura I office buildings. "if the vehicle gasoline and diesel fuel are exceeding emission limits from  that have been determined, then the vehicle does not pass the emissions test, so the vehicle needs maintenance service," Binsar said.
The categories of emission limits vehicle gasoline fuels, i.e. vehicles under 2007 hydrocarbon - HC (ppm) should not be above 700 and carbon monoxide - CO (%) should not be more than 3.0, while vehicles over 2007 HC (ppm ) should not be above 200 and CO (%) should not be more than 1.5.
While the category of diesel-fueled vehicles, i.e. vehicles under opacity% in 2010 should not be more than 50, while for vehicles over opacity% in 2010 should not be more than 40.
""To improve air quality and age of the vehicle is expected to the owners of private vehicles or offices in order to carry out the adjustment (Tune Up) vehicle regularly.
