JAKARTA - Angkasa Pura Airports dispatched 30,744 Hajj Pilgrims with a total of 75 flying groups (kloter) during the 2018 Hajj Transport period between 17-25 July 2018 through the 6 airports managed by Angkasa Pura Airports.

The 6 airports that were used as Hajj embarkations this year were Surabaya Juanda Airport, Makassar Sultan Hasanuddin Airport, Balikpapan Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Airport (SAMS) Sepinggan Airport, Adi Soemarmo Surakarta Airport, Lombok Praya Airport, and Banjarmasin Syamsudin Noor Airport.

From July 17 to 25, there were 11,711 Hajj pilgrims departing from Juanda Airport in 26 kloters, another 10,029 Hajj Pilgrims embarked from Adisoemarno Airport in Solo in 28 kloters, while from Sultan Hasanuddin Airport there were 5,441 Hajj Pilgrims in 12 kloters from Makassar. From Lombok Praya Airport there were 2,271 Hajj pilgrims leaving in 5 kloters, and from Syamsudin Noor Airport Banjarmasin another 1,292 Hajj pilgrims embarked from Banjarmasin. While at SAMS Sepinggan Balikpapan Airport, the departure of Hajj pilgrims will take place from 27 July to 13 August 2018.

The details of the total departure of pilgrims from 6 Hajj embarkation airports managed by Angkasa Pura Airports, namely at Juanda Airport, Surabaya will serve 36,674 pilgrims with a total of 83 Kloters, at Adi Soemarmo Airport there will be 34,112 pilgrims in 95 kloters, at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport in Makassar there will be 15,899 pilgrims in 35 Kloters, at Sepinggan SAMS Airport Balikpapan there will be 5,973 pilgrims in 13 Kloters, at Syamsudin Noor Airport there will be 5,448 pilgrims in 17 Kloters, and at Lombok International Airport there will be 4,476 pilgrims in 10 Kloters.
