Back to ListJakarta, April 11, 2022 - Angkasa Pura Airports has prepared Covid-19 vaccination centers at managed airports starting April 6, 2022. This was a manifestation of the company’s commitment and support to encourage the acceleration of the vaccination program as one of air travel requirements during the pandemic, especially in public places including airports from the Indonesian Ministry of Health.
“Vaccination centers at the managed airports are expected to accelerate and increase the rate of second and third dose (booster) vaccinations for all service users and the community around the airports. Angkasa Pura Airports together with relevant stakeholders will also ensure that the vaccination center is implemented with strict health protocols,” AP I’s President Director, Faik Fahmi said.
The vaccination center was organized in collaboration with the Port Health Office (KKP) of each airport, the Health Department, TNI, Polri, and other airport communities. The KKP and the local Health Department were in charge of administering the vaccination, providing health workers/vaccinators and vaccines for service users and the community.
The general requirements for vaccination are Indonesian citizens, having ID card, healthy and not being positive for Covid-19, aged 6 years and over for the premier vaccine and 18 years and over for the booster vaccine, have received the second dose of vaccine for at least 3 months for booster vaccines and already have a Vaccination ticket in PeduliLindungi application.
As of April 11, 2022, vaccination centers were available at 9 Angkasa Pura Airports airports with the following operational hours and locations:
