Back to ListJAKARTA - To support the recovery of Bali tourism sector in line with the plan to open international doors for foreign tourists, Angkasa Pura Airports provided stimulus or incentive policies for national and foreign airlines operating international flights to and from Bali.
The incentive is in the form of a landing fee discount with an incentive period from October 14, 2021 to June 30, 2022. Angkasa Pura Airports provided a 100-percent landing fee discount in the period from October 14 to December 31, 2021, and a 50-percent landing fee discount in the period from January 1 to June 30, 2021.
“Angkasa Pura Airports supports the recovery of Bali tourism in line with the plan to open international doors for foreign tourists to Bali through the provision of a stimulus for national and foreign airlines reactivating international routes to and from Bali. It is hoped that the incentive will ease the burden on airlines to reactivate their international routes to and from Bali,” AP I President Director, Faik Fahmi said.
To be eligible for the incentive, airlines must meet several criteria as follows:
According to flight records at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in 2019 or pre-pandemic period, the airport has served 50 destination cities in the world, such as Incheon, Dubai, Doha, Narita, Istanbul, Sydney, Melbourne and so on. International passengers reached 13.8 million people throughout 2019. The most used aircrafts were Boeing 777, Boeing 787 and Airbus 330.
Furthermore, airlines receiving the incentive will also be assisted in promoting their flight routes by PT Angkasa Pura I on various company electronic media channels, such as social media.
