Realizing the Operational and Service Excellence, Angkasa Pura Airports Signs MoU with Four State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs’ Synergy)

JAKARTA - Angkasa Pura Airports signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with four State Owned Enterprises (SOE), such as PT Sucofindo (Persero), PT Surveyor Indonesia (Persero), PT Virama Karya (Persero), and PT Danareksa Securities on Tuesday (22/11) at Hotel Borobudur. This cooperation is an attempt from Angkasa Pura Airports to realize the operational excellence and service companies (operational excellence and service excellence) by utilizing the synergy of the State Owned Enterprises (SOEs).

The signing of this MoU is done by Danang S. Baskoro the Director of Angkasa Pura Airports with each of the four state-owned Directors; they are Bachder Johan Buddin the Sucofindo Director, M. Arifthe Surveyor Indonesia Director, Jusarwanto Virama Karya Director, and Jenpino Ngabdi the Director of Danareksa Securities.

"The signing of this MoU is a commitment of Angkasa Pura Airports to enhance the role of inter-state enterprises to support an increase operational excellence and service companies as well as provide benefits for national economic growth," said Danang S. Baskoro.

Memorandum of Understanding between Angkasa Pura Airports with Danareksa Securities include consultancy and financial arranger activities including activities related an underwriter or broker. Meanwhile, the Memorandum of Understanding Angkasa Pura Airports with Virama Karya include cooperation in the fields of consulting engineering and management such as the feasibility study from the construction of airports, developing a master plan on airports development, studies and surveys related technical planning of airports, technical supervision, construction management, and airport construction project management. In addition, cooperation with Virama Karya also includes consulting activities of quality control (quality assurance) related to the construction work, consulting Quantity Surveyor (QS), consulting, operational and maintenance phase, and technical advisory.

While the Memorandum of Understanding between Angkasa Pura Airports with Sucofindo covering the field of inspection activities and audit consulting, testing and analysis, training and certification in which some of the activities in it include the planning and preliminary design (land planning, feasibility studies, due diligence, investment management, and detail airport construction engineering design), construction (project monitoring, verification of material prices, environmental consultancy, verification component level in the country, and others). In addition, cooperation with Sucofindo also includes the activities of the operational implementation and maintenance (asset inventory in the airport environment, corporate finance, asset information system, asset security management, and others) and the activities of infrastructure and regional planning (regional development, transportation infrastructure, Telco and utility network, and energy infrastructure).

Later, a Memorandum of Understanding Angkasa Pura Airports with Surveyor Indonesia covering cooperation on three phases of activities such as planning and preliminary design (land planning, catchment areas, soil investigation, feasibility study, environmental impact assessments, and others), construction (monitoring and verification of domestic component level , building construction supervision, inspection / certification of facilities and equipment in the airport), and the implementation of operational and maintenance (asset integrity management, operation and maintenance, customer satisfaction surveys, training environmental management systems, and others).

Through this partnership Sucofindo PT (Persero), PT Surveyor Indonesia (Persero), PT Virama Karya (Persero) and PT Danareksa Securities will contribute in accordance with the competencies owned businesses to support the company's operations. In addition, the synergy between state-owned enterprises will be able to optimize the performance of the five state-owned enterprises and is expected to become a model of development of Synergy other state.
