QUEENSLAND - I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airportwon the award as "The Most Improved Airport in the Asia-Pacific 2015" and "The 3rd Best Airport in the World 2015" in the category of airports with 15 to 25 million passengers per year according to a survey Airport Service Quality (ASQ) conducted by the Airport Council International (ACI).

Director General ACI Angela Gittens handed the award directly to the General Manager of I Gusti Ngurah RaiAirport, Trikora Hardjo on the sidelines of the 11th ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, on Tuesday (19/4).

"This award is given based on the results of a survey conducted by ACI ASQ during the period of 2015. This achievement is the result of hard work together. We are very proud and grateful for this achievement," said Trikora.

Surveys Airport Service Quality (ASQ) involves 550 thousand passengers from 300 international airports in 80 countries. I Gusti Ngurah Airport rated as the airport has made remarkable progress in providing services to passengers. The title of "The Most Improved Airport" This refers to the quality of services that successfully improved by this airport every year.

"Preliminary assessment by ACI since 2012, the value of Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport is 2.95. End of 2015, our CSI scores increased to 4.74. That is, within a period of three years we managed to improve the quality of service 60.7%," said Trikora.

In the survey, the ACI adhering to the 34 key services passenger satisfaction indicators. Starting from the access to the airport, check-in facilities, completeness and cleanliness of toilets, airport environmental security, as well as service support facilities at the airport, such as the availability of shops selling food and drinks.

Trikora also added, efforts to improve and increase the service will be continued.
