Increasing Service, Angkasa Pura Airports Presenting New Uniform For Avsec Officer

JAKARTA, February 5, 2018 - Started February 1, 2018, Angkasa Pura Airports was presenting a new uniform for all Aviation Security (Avsec) officers simultaneously in 13 airports. The new uniform change of avsec officer was the response of Angkasa Pura Airports as a public service company that prioritizes service aspect to airport service users.

"The Avsec duty is at the forefront of service at the airport. This uniform change aims to form a more customer-oriented corporate image in providing service to service users in all airports managed by Angkasa Pura I. It also aims to foster a sense of unity and pride for the avsec officers,"said by Director of Angkasa Pura Airports, Faik Fahmi.

The noticeable change was seen in the uniforms of Avsec Leaders Team and Squad Leader, which uses black suits, white shirts, navy trousers, red and navy ties, and black leather shoes. Meanwhile for the Avsec Officer uniforms use a special navy-colored vest, white shirt, navy tie and navy pants, black leather shoes, and completed with nameplate attributes along with Angkasa Pura AirportsI logo and airport identity. On the right arm there is a black shield logo with a sun logo that has a strong, persistent, and burning philosophy in protecting and maintaining flight security while also giving the impression of serving.

Avsec Team Leader, Squad Leader and Officer will use the uniform during their duties and conduct routine supervision in the terminal area, including at the entrance and exit areas, as well as at the Screening Check Point (SCP) I and SCP II at the departure and arrival terminals, patrols , as well as when monitoring CCTV operators.

"This uniform is designed to advance the functionality and role of avsec officers as personnel who maintain the security and safety of aviation at the airport. The impression of an avsec officer who is closer to the airport service user, friendly in serving, as well as professional and putting up firm and alert attitude is what we want to emerge before the 54th year of Angkasa Pura Airports on February 20th.
