JAKARTA - Angkasa Pura Airports and PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk. (GMF) signed a Business Concession and Lease Rental Cooperation Agreement in Line Maintenance Service Business Activities for Aircraft at 13 airports managed by PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero). The signing of this Cooperation Agreement was carried out by the Managing Director of Angkasa Pura Airports Faik Fahmi and GMF President Director Iwan Joeniarto in Grha Angkasa Pura I, Kemayoran, Jakarta, Friday (13/7) morning.
"Through the signing of this cooperation agreement is expected to provide legal certainty for GMF as one of the business actors in Angkasa Pura Airports environment in carrying out its business activities," said by Faik Fahmi, Director of Angkasa Pura Airports.
As for the scope of this agreement GMF will lease the Room and /or Ground Support Equipment (GSE) as well as conduct aircraft repair service activities which include minor, scheduled or unscheduled maintenance (line maintenance) at airport managed by Angkasa Pura Airports. The term of this cooperation agreement is 5 years starting from 1 January 2018-31 December 2022.
In the same place GMF President Director, Iwan Joeniarto said that this cooperation is one form of synergy to strengthen business activities between BUMN and its subsidiaries. "Angkasa Pura Airports gives its land to GMF with reciprocity of the Line Maintenance business granted by GMF to its customers. We hope this cooperation is going well to encourage the performance of both parties both in terms of profitability and operational aspects, " Iwan said.
"This partnership is expected to further enhance the business synergies between Angkasa Pura Airports and GMF, and most importantly support the achievement of the business targets that have been established jointly," added by Faik Fahmi. [AD]
