KULONPROGO - Angkasa Pura Airports and Kulonprogo Government has prepared the airport development concept. The concept was presented at the official residence of regents (13/8). Director of Finance and IT Angkasa Pura Airports Subrata Agus Gunawan said the airport refers to mandate social piety. The company will also heed the principles of human development.

Locals will also be involved before and after the airport operated. Construction of the airport is also ongoing, became the embryo for public economic activities. "Locals will be trained so that welfare increases. Airport developing point to nature of human development. So in this development, the public should be happy," he said.

Gunawan said Space Angkasa Pura Airports spread questionnaire regarding alternatives that can be taken. Residents affected will receive cash and locate themselves, or receive government money and asked for help to get an alternative land. "We hope that they do not feel displaced. Yet again residents placed not far from the airport. So if there is progress around the airport they still come to feel it," he said. 

Kulonprogo regency and Angkasa Pura Airports have set up an alternative profession rather more realistic. It is being evaluated to select the people who want to join mechanical training in cooperation with PT Astra.
