YOGYAKARTA - PT Angkasa Pura I in collaboration with Astra Honda Motor (AHM) in Yogyakarta held a motorcycle mechanic training for residents Temon, Progo, Monday (22/09/2014). This activity is a form of environmental development of PT Angkasa Pura to the community around the work area. Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) PT Angkasa Pura I, Mariyanto said, training has been held the fifth time. For this time, it is specialized training for residents in the area of the ring 1 Temon that coincide directly with the work area Angkasa Pura. It also became part of the agenda of socialization airport development in Temon area that designed by the company. 

"This is part of the CSR Angkasa Pura to the environment coaching. There are 25 people residents domicile Temon which we include for this motorcycle technician training. They filtered from vocational schools and the general public," said Mariyanto. The training activities will take place during the week basic motorcycle mechanics theory (in class) and practice. After that, the participants will undergo internship in several branches of Honda authorized workshops (AHASS) for a month. Expected, from this training, they have basic skills as a mechanic and could spur the entrepreneurial spirit of each participant. 

Region Head AHM Yogyakarta, Ronaldo Wijaya said, of such mechanical training, about half of the number of participants is usually directly absorbed to work in the official Honda workshop. Meanwhile, others open their own business with the provision of capabilities that are already owned. "We also encourage them to be able to open their own business.
