Angkasa Pura Airports President Director Wins 2018-2019 Advanced Indonesia Awards

JAKARTA – Angkasa Pura Airports President Director Faik Fahmi won an award for "The Most Visionary CEO" in the category of SOE of Indonesia in the 2018-2019. Advanced Indonesia Award which was held to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of national media Rakyat Merdeka Daily and the 30th Anniversary of national media Warta Ekonomi. The award was received by Faik Fahmi at the Pullman Hotel in Jakarta on Monday (8/4).

"I express my deepest gratitude to the Rakyat Merdeka Daily and Warta Ekonomi for the award. This award is inseparable from the participation of all Angkasa Pura I personnel who always work together to achieve the goals and ideals of the company," Faik said.

The 2018-2019 Advanced Indonesia Award is an appreciation for Indonesian politician, economist, and business leader who have succeeded in becoming accelerators, leader, and innovators in the country.

The award is divided into five groups of recipients: Indonesian Corporation, SOE of Indonesia, Minister and Officials of Indonesia, Indonesian Figures, and Special Award.

Some of the award recipients are Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Syafii Ma'arif who won the Special Award category as “Peaceful Figure", K.H. Mustofa Bisri, who won an award for "Indonesian Kyai (Islamic teacher) " in the category of Indonesian Figures, then Ridwan Kamil who won the Special Award for "Millennial Governor of the Year", and many other figures.

"The leaders who received the award have commitment, enthusiasm, and concrete steps for the progress of the country. Those figures do not want Indonesia to speculate, stagnate, let alone goes backward, "said Rakyat Merdeka Daily Managing Director and Founder Margiono.

"The Advanced Indonesia Award is expected to inspire all elements of this nation to act within the same framework. Acting for one purpose, the Advanced Indonesia," said Warta Ekonomi President Commissioner Fadel Muhammad.

Meanwhile, the winners of the award were obtained after a series of research and selection, namely qualitative research (desk research), media monitoring, initial judging with the Rakyat Merdeka Daily Team and Warta Ekonomi, and the final judging.

Specifically, for the Special Award category, the determination of the award recipient was assisted by three judges, a prominent Indonesian press figure Suryopratomo, an academic who is also a leading political expert in Indonesia Tjipta Lesmana, and a business figure who had been the president of a top company Hasnul Suhaemi.
