BANDUNG (2/10) - Angkasa Pura Airports signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PT Kereta ApiIndonesia (Persero) and PT Adhi Karya (Persero) concerning cooperation in the development of the airport train service Adi Soemarmo Solo .
MoU signing was conducted by Acting Temporary (PTS) Director of Angkasa Pura Airports Polana B. Pramesti, Director of KAI Edi Sukmoro, and Director of Adhi Karya Budi Harto, as witnessed by the Indonesian State Enterprise Minister Rini Soemarno in Bandung on Sunday (02 / 10).
"This MoU is the initial basis of the work plan together that will be done by Angkasa Pura Airports with KAI and Adhi Karya in order to realize the project development facilities airport train in Adi Soemarmo Solo. It also meant to support government policy related to the development of rail-based transportation from and to the airport, "Said Polana.
The scope of this MOU, said Polana, is the preparation of a project plan that includes action planning; collecting technical data, law, and economics for the preparation of a feasibility study (feasibility study), in coordination with the competent authority or authorities, and consulting with the feasibility study consultant.
"This feasibility study will last for one year and if the results of the feasibility study stated project development of the airport train is viable business then will be followed by the formation of a joint venture (joint venture company) Operator Facility Railway Adi Soemarmo Solo managed in an integrated way (integrated management), "said Polana which is the Technical Director of Angkasa Pura Airports that.
"The development of the airport train is a form of seriousness Angkasa Pura Airports to improve services to users of airport services and the realization of public service and professional excellence," he said.
