YOGYAKARTA - The Economic Community of JogjaSpecial (Territory) and the Community Concerned The International Airport of New Yogyakarta (NYIA) represented by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry / Professional / Community Organizations / NGOs, BUMN / BUMD / BUMS / BUMDes, IKM / UKM, World Banking and citizens affected NYIA declaredits support to the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) to accelerate the Development of NYIA in Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta. Declaration of support was held in Kampayo XT Square, Yogyakarta, Monday (16/7).

"We are representing the economic stakeholders in Yogyakarta fully support the Government of Indonesia and Angkasa Pura Airports to accelerate the development of the development of NYIA. We hope that the airport development process and its management in the future will prioritize the participation of business actors in Yogyakarta and local people according to the applicable qualification and classification," said by the Declaration Initiator , KRMT Indro "Kimpling" Suseno.

The construction of Yogyakarta International Airport is believed that business actors will have positive impacts in various sectors for the Special Province of Yogyakarta and Kulon Progo Regency in particular. Director of Angkasa Pura Airports Faik Fahmi expressed his appreciation for the support provided by the Jogja Economic Community Special to the development project of NYIA which is one of the National Strategic Projects (PSN) which is targeted to operate in April 2019. "I think this is a very positive thing related to nothing which we are doing. Angkasa Pura Airports is a State Owned Enterprise (BUMN) which is indeed assigned by the state to build a better airport in Yogyakarta, because if we look at Adisutjipto International Airport now it is very unfeasible because of its very limited capacity,"Faik Fahmi said.

"We hope that with the support of the 57 economic actors from the Special Economic Community of Yogyakarta and the Airport Concerned People in Yogyakarta who have signed the declaration of acceleration support of NYIA airport will further ease our steps in the construction of this airport. In addition, the main enough to help the economic growth of Yogyakarta is more significant. In terms of tourism, the most obvious impact of the presence of NYIA will be from the side of this airport capability that can be landed by large aircraft until it is expected to accommodate large numbers of tourists to come to Yogyakarta,"Faik said.
