7 Angkasa Pura Airports Again Wins the Gold Flag of SMK3

JAKARTA - A total of 7 airports managed by Angkasa Pura Airports have again won the Gold Flag Award for Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) from the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemnaker) in the 2022 OHS Award Awarding event which was held on 24 May 2022. with the title "Satisfactory" was successfully accepted by Angkasa Pura Airports based on the results and assessment for the Advanced Category with 166 criteria and the Initial Category with 64 criteria according to Government Regulation Number 50 of 2012 concerning the Implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (SMK3).

The 7 airports that won the SMK3 Gold Flag were I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali, General Ahmad Yani Airport in Semarang, Adi Soemarmo Airport in Solo, SAMS Sepinggan Airport in Balikpapan, Juanda Airport in Surabaya, and Yogyakarta International Airport which won the Advanced Category, as well as Airports Sentani Jayapura for the Initial Category.

"Angkasa Pura Airports is committed to implementing SMK3 as an effort to guarantee Occupational Safety and Health (K3) for employees, airport service users, work partners and/or business partners. This is in line with the mandate contained in Law Number 1 of 1970 concerning Occupational Safety and Government Regulation Number PP 50 of 2012 concerning the Implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3)," explained Angkasa Pura Airports President Director Faik Fahmi.

In 2021, Angkasa Pura Airports is consistent in implementing SMK3 in all airport branch offices under its management. In its implementation, Angkasa Pura Airports collaborates with the SMK3 Audit Institute, namely PT Sucofindo Indonesia to ensure and assess the level of compliance with applicable regulations. The achievement of the SMK3 Gold Flag is an acknowledgment and appreciation of the company's commitment and is in line with Angkasa Pura Airports' business processes which always prioritize the principles of Safety, Security, Services, and Compliance (3S+1C).

Complementing the SMK3 Gold Flag Award, Angkasa Pura Airports also won 3 other awards, namely the Zero Accident Award for Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Yogyakarta Adisutjipto Airport, and Makassar Sultan Hasanuddin Airport; Award for the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Program (P2COVID) for Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport and Lombok International Airport; and the HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Program (P2HIV/AIDS) Award for I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali.

This award is an award received by Angkasa Pura Airports for the umpteenth time in implementing SMK3 and for the hard work and contributions of various parties. This is what drives the company's enthusiasm to maintain and continue to increase the value of compliance with the implementation of SMK3 in a sustainable manner in all Angkasa Pura Airports Branch Offices.
