Bandara Sultan Hasanuddin Tingkatkan Keamanan

MAROS - In order to increase service and security of passangers in Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport Makassar, Angkasa Pura Airports has a plan to relayout the airport terminal by applying the checking system by Concourse Plan that is the passangers security checking, the employees who have lisence to enter (Airport PAS) aand the luggage is conducted in the entrance door waiting room centrally.

Such security checking process is conducted in Floor I of airport terminal. While the checking of international flight shall perform in Floor II. This refers to the international referrence on goods checking in the international passanger’s cabin pertaining on liquid, aerosol and gas items check.

“This Concourse Plan implementation will be conducted after verification and certification by the Directorate of Aviation Security of Transportation Minister on April 2014 as the requirements of aviation security guarantee” said Rahman Syafrie, as General Manager of Angkasa Pura Airports of Sultan Hasanuddin Branch Airport Makassar.

In the different opportunity,  The Aviation Security Department Head of Sultan Hasanuddin International Airports Makassar, Mulyadi Suparjo added that the implementation of this Concourse Plan is conducted to increase security so that the passangers do not need any screening process while boarding to enter the plane. “All things related to aviation shall get checking to prevent the occurence illegal act. Each airplane passangers and employees who has Airport PAS that will enter limited security area of airport shall be checked the security” added Mulyadi.  [Diani Sekaring Sejati/Source: Fajar]
