JAKARTA - Angkasa Pura Airports is appointed by Airports Council International (ACI) World to host prestigious international airport events called ACI Customer Experience Global Summit which will be held on September 2 to 5, 2019 in Bali.
The 2019 ACI Customer Experience Global Summit is the second event while the first one was held in Halifax, Nova Scotia in Canada. This year, the event is expected to bring more than 400 delegates from all over the world to explore best business practices in the industry by providing a better customer travel experience at the airport.
The event consists of three parts, namely the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) international forum, the Customer Global Summit and the ceremonial awarding of the prestigious ASQ Awards.
"We are pleased to be chosen as a host of the second ACI Customer Experience Global Summit event in 2019 which will be held in Bali on September 2 to 5, 2019," said Angkasa Pura president director Faik Fahmi.
"Following the success of Angkasa Pura Airports on several ACI programs since 2013, the trust given by ACI to Angkasa Pura Airports as the first airport operator in the Asia Pacific to host this prestigious event will strengthen our credibility internationally. This opportunity will also enable us to promote a wide selection of tourism destinations outside Bali and the hospitality of the Indonesian people," Faik Fahmi added
"The ACI Customer Global Summit is dedicated to helping airport operators understand their changing and dynamic customer needs by exploring customer experience trends," said ACI World Director General Angela Gittens,” said ACI World director general Angela Gittens.
"Most of Angkasa Pura I airports have improved the quality of their services through the ASQ Program for the past few years and we hope to work together with Angkasa Pura Airports to bring our global meeting to Bali which can ultimately help expand the airport industry's knowledge and expertise,” she added.
The ACI Customer Experience Global Summit will provide opportunities for participants to share ideas, celebrate success, and get to know the best airports in the field of customer service based on customer surveys that have been conducted.
