Jakarta, April 20, 2018 - As part of a series of activities to commemorate its 54th anniversary in 2018, Angkasa Pura Airports as the manager of 13 airports in the middle to eastern part of Indonesia again held a photography competition entitled "Airport Photo Contest (APC) 2018" Competition of photographic works with the airport object was opened starting April 17 and will close on June 30, 2018. The committee provides a total prize of cash of 80 million IDR for the winners of this event.
"After successfully held a similar event in 2014 ago, this time we again held 'Airport Photo Contest (APC) 2018'. Taking the theme of 'Proud to Serve the Nation', this photo contest is divided into three categories, namely general categories, journalists, and employees. From each category will be selected four champions and 10 best nominees,"said by Corporate Secretary Angkasa Pura Airports Israwadi.
According to Israwadi, the photographed works should describe the service activities at the airport, which can be either the services made by airport personnel or airport facilities intended to provide services to airport users. "Photo objects can be service activities or buildings / facilities that exist in 13 airports managed by Angkasa Pura Airports," Israwadi said.
The airports are Adi Sutjipto Airport (Yogyakarta), Adisoemarmo Airport (Surakarta), Ahmad Yani Airport (Semarang), Juanda Airport (Surabaya), and I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali). In addition to Lombok International Airport (Lombok), Eltari Airport (Kupang), Syamsudin Noor Airport (Banjarmasin), SAMS Sepinggan Airport (Balikpapan), and Sam Ratulangi Airport (Manado). Also Sultan Hasanuddin Airport (Makassar), Pattimura Airport (Ambon), and Frans Kaisiepo Airport (Biak).
"Each participant can include a maximum of five photographs taken in the period from 1 January 2016 to 30 June 2018. The photograph must be submitted by email address event@ap1.co.id. The deadline for submitting photos is June 30, 2018 and the winners will be announced in the third week of July 2018 through the website www.ap1.co.id, "he added.
The jury that will assess the work of the contestants are Arbain Rambey (Kompas Daily Photo Editor) and Oscar Motuloh (Executive Director Photo Gallery Jurnalistik Antara).
