Angkasa Pura Airports And Danareksa Closed Program Siswa Mengenal Nusantara In The Province Of Central Sulawesi And Riau

PALU - Angkasa Pura Airports with PT Danareksa officially closed the activities of Siswa Mengenal Nusantara 2017 for Central Sulawesi and Riau Province, Saturday (5/8/2017) night at Mercure Hotel, Palu. The closing of SMN for Province of Central Sulawesi and Riau Province carried out by Moch. Asrori the Commercial and Business Development Director of Angkasa Pura Airports, together with Donny Susatio Adjie the Danareksa Corporate Secretary's also witnessed by the Governor of Central Sulawesi, represented by Moh. Arif Abdul W. Latjuba, the Assistant I, and the Education & Culture Office represented by M. Hardiansyah the Head of Teachers, Education Staff, Teachers Facilitation of Education and Culture Office of Central Sulawesi Province, and representatives from PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk and PT Perkebunan Nusantara 5.

"After this program we hope can grow a sense of pride inside the students and young generation of Indonesia that Indonesia is very rich in culture and diversity. We also hope the students also can spread the spirit of love Indonesia and ’BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri’ to Friends, teachers and family when they come home," said by Moch. Asrori, Director of Commercial & Business Development of Angkasa Pura Airports.

Siswa Mengenal Nusantara is an Annual Program initiated by the Ministry of SOEs as the part of BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri which aims to enhance the love to the country and  unite the young generations of Indonesia.

In this Siswa Mengenal Nusantara (SMN) program, Angkasa Pura Airports as the state-owned PIC of Central Sulawesi province together with Danareksa sent 18 students of SMA & SMK, 2 students with disabilities from Special Needs School, and 5 companion teachers to exchange experiences and increase the insight of the archipelago with 20 students and 5 companion teachers From Riau Province from 30 July to 5 August 2017.

During the period of SMN implementation, students from Riau Province in Palu were invited to live with foster parents in Lere Subdistrict, West Palu District. Students were also invited to get to know the culture, history and places of interest such as Donggala weaving factory, fried garlic making place which is a typical souvenir of Palu City, Central Sulawesi Museum, Dato' Karama Historical Grave, Tanjung Karang Beach, the Peace Monument and Nusantara Pavilion at Talise Beach. Also to add point of view in the field of education, students from Riau province also visiting schools such as SMA N 1 Palu, SMA Al Azhar Mandiri Palu and Tadulako University.

In the speech of Longki Djanggola, the Central Sulawesi Governor, read by Moh. Arif Abdul W. Latjutba as Assistant I Governor. He said the Provincial Government of North Sulawesi thanked and gave the highest award to SOEs and SOEs leaders who continuously pionering this program as a form of state-owned enterprises to build the state.

"The Provincial Government of Central Sulawesi is very happy and welcome the arrival of the best student ambassadors from other provinces to know and learn about the rich Central Sulawesi culture," added Moh. Arif Abdul W. Latjuba.
